VII TROUBLESHOOTING
Review these tips first and you may not need to call for service.
Device will not start
Possible cause
Cord is not plugged into
an electrical outlet
A fuse may be blown or
the circuit may be breaker

Possible cause
Food waste is not drained
of liquids.
Food waste placed over
the limit.
Does not dry completely
Possible cause
Filter outlets are blocked.
Contents were extremely
moist.
Contents consisted of
mainly one type of waste
Unpleasant smell emerges during the process
Possible cause
Filter holder is not
installed properly.
Active carbon filter is
consumed
Start button blinks
What to do
This is not a malfunction. The appliance is on power save node.
Pressing the power button does not stop the operation
What to do
The appliance runs for a minute after powering off in order to filter out the smell from
inside.
What to do
Make sure plug is fully inserted into the wall outlet.
Replace fuse or reset circuit breaker.
What to do
Drain liquid contents prior to operation.
Do not place the food waste over limit.
What to do
Remove any objects blocking the rear outlets.
Run the appliance another cycle by pressing the 'Start'
button.
Have the contents placed into the unit be mixed.
What to do
Fix the filter holder with firm press.
Replace active carbon filter (see relevant paragraph)
