Open the bottom battery back-up compartment and remove the plastic tab from the button battery.
This battery will keep the time during power outages or moving the clock from room to room.
Insert 9V battery(not included) into the bottom back-up battery compartment.
During a power outage the display will turn off. To check the time, press any touch button to
illuminate the display.
