in this text carefully.
Any claim for possible damage to or fire in the
appliance caused by failure to follow the in-
structions in this manual will be rejected.
Installation
The extractor must be installed at least 65 cm
above the cooking surface. If the installation
instructions of the cooking appliance specify a
greater distance, this must be taken into ac-
count. Fit the extractor in such a way that it
will be easy to remove from the wall without
causing any damage. Removal may be neces-
sary for future service operations.
The extractor must be connected to an extrac-
tion duct with a minimum diameter of 150 mm.
This is very important to ensure the life and ex-
traction capacity of your extractor.
Extraction
The extraction duct must be connected directly
to the motor housing. When fitting the extrac-
tion duct, make sure that the one-way valve is
not blocked! We recommend fitting the duct
with tape and not with screws.
It is advisable to keep the duct as short as pos-
sible, with as few bends as possible. It is also
advisable to use a smooth duct in order to keep
resistance to the minimum. This is extremely
important for the best operation of your ex-
tractor.
Note: No ducting is supplied with the extrac-
tor.
If it is not possible to vent the steam outside,
the extractor can be used in the filter mode
F (recirculation) by fitting carbon filters. The
filtered air is returned to the kitchen through
the openings on the side of the chimney.

Electrical connection

The mains voltage must correspond to the
voltage stated on the factory plate inside the
hood.
