c) Always grip the power plug to disconnect the appliance from the power
supply.
d) Always be sure to keep the handheld vacuum cleaner away from heating
elements, ovens or other heated appliances and surfaces.
e) Make sure that the ventilation slits are never obstructed. A blocked
ventilation circuit can result in overheating and damage to the appliance.
f) This product contains rechargeable batteries. Do not throw the batteries
into a fire and do not subject them to high temperatures. There is a risk
of explosion!
g) Do not use the handheld vacuum cleaner without the dust filter inserted.
h) Do not use the mains adapter for a different product and do not attempt
to charge this appliance with a different mains adapter. Use only the
mains adapter supplied with this appliance.
i) Never attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
j) The batteries in this appliance cannot be replaced.
4. PRIOR TO FIRST USE
a) Remove all packaging materials from the appliance.
b) Press the dust filter bag 9 and the dust filter (10) a little way into the dirt
container (11). They might have loosened during transport and thus not
be positioned correctly inside the dirt container (11).
c) Place the dirt container (11) on the motor unit:
d) Push the plastic tab on the underside of the handheld vacuum cleaner
into the recess on the dirt container (11).
e) Press the release button 8 and push the dirt container (11) onto the motor
unit at the same time.
f) Let go of the release button 8 so that the restraint engages in the recess.
The dirt container (11) is now firmly seated on the motor unit.
5. INFORMATION ABOUT THE BATTERIES
a) This handheld vacuum cleaner is powered by rechargeable lithium-ion
batteries. Before using the handheld vacuum cleaner for the first time,
the batteries must be charged for at least 24 hours.
b) The batteries reach their full capacity after a charging time of 24 hours
for the first time. For care of the batteries, we recommend the following:
