Looking after your appliance!
Insertion rod and whisk head are firmly connected
and cannot be detached from each other. Do not
put the appliance down on the whisk head. This can
cause the appliance and whisk head to be deformed.
• Replace used batteries. Remove batteries from the
appliance during long periods of non-use.
Important!
Risk of injury due to battery leakage!
The used batteries contain substances which can cause
injuries through skin contact or inhalation. Always wear
rubber gloves to remove leaked batteries from the
appliance and dispose of them in a sealed container
(see Battery disposal).

8. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Battery disposal
As a consumer you are obliged by law to recycle used
batteries. The following options are available for disposal:
- through the dealer
- through the hazardous waste container provided by the
local authority.
Packaging – and appliance disposal
The packaging consists entirely of environmentally
friendly materials which should be handed over at your
local recycling point.
Please contact your local authority for information about
disposal of your appliance at the end of its service life.
9. INFORMATION FOR THE CORRECT DISPOSAL OF
ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES
At the end of its working life, the product
must not be disposed of as urban waste.
It must be taken to a special local authority
differentiated waste collection centre or to a
dealer providing this service. Disposing of a
household appliance separately avoids possible
negative consequences for the environment and health
deriving from inappropriate disposal and enables the
constituent materials to be recovered to obtain significant
savings in energy and resources. To remind you that you
must collaborate with a selective collection scheme, the
symbol shown appears on the product warning you not
to dispose of it in traditional refuse containers. For further
information, contact your local authority or the shop
where you bought the product.
