NOTE
Remember to switch off the device after completion of the
treatment. If you have worked with the earphone and set it aside
with the device, you can tell that the device is switched on only
by means of the illuminated LED. The battery consumption increases
if you leave the promed ACP switched on unnecessarily.
External electrode with cable
Plug the external electrode into the connection jack. For self-treatment, fasten the
electrode around your own wrist or arm, for treatment of another person around their
wrist or arm. Now you can hold the promed ACP as you wish, without having to
concentrate on keeping contact with the contact electrode or - when treating some-
one else - without having to touch the person being treated more than necessary. The
completed circuit is ensured by attaching the external electrode. This enables more
convenient treatment.
NOTE
You can also improve the contact with the external electrode by
slightly moistening the electrode before applying it to the skin.

4.1 Frequently asked questions and their answers
Why does my device sometimes indicate no acupuncture points?
1. For self-treatment
Do you have contact with the contact electrode? The electric circuit must always be
complete. Hold the promed ACP in such a way that at least one finger is touching the
contact electrode.
2. For treatment of others
Have you completed the electric circuit, i.e. contact with the person being treated? For
treatment with the use of the external electrode: Is the external electrode properly
applied, i.e. securely on the non-oily skin? Is the connection cable connected tightly in
the jack? Here one must also make sure that the electric circuit is always complete.
3. For treatment with the acupuncture tip
Does the attached tip have contact with the device? If necessary, remove it once and
replace it, turning it in order to restore contact.
