First Use of the Machine
Take out all the parts carefully out of the packing. Save the
packing and the inner packing material for the whole dura-
tion of the warranty.
Clean the device before using it for the first time as de-
scribed in "Cleaning and Storage".
For protection, a silicone cover is fixed over the pin on the
bottom of the measuring jug. In order to avoid injury, we
recommend that the silicone cover is replaced after use.
Electric Connection
Ensure that your mains power corresponds to the appliance's
specifications on the type label.
Operation
1. Place the device horizontally on a flat, dry surface. It should
be slip-resistant and heat-resistant.
2. Fill the cooking bowl with the amount of water signaled on
the measuring beaker for the number of eggs to be boiled.
NOTE:
As the degree of cooking depends on several factors, it
is advisable in the case of large (egg sizes L and XL) or
cold eggs to use slightly more water. If the eggs are too
hard, please pour slightly less water than stated in the
cooking bowl, or slightly more if the eggs are too soft.
3. The markings on the beaker have the following meaning:
soft / weich / mollet
for soft-boiled eggs
The individual lines above the words show the number of
eggs (1-6).
medium / mittel
between hard and soft-boiled
The individual lines above the words show the number of
eggs (1-6).
hard / hart / dur
for hard-boiled eggs.
The individual lines above the words show the number of
eggs (1-6).
4. Insert the egg tray.
5. Pierce the eggs on the bottom to avoid that they crack.
Please use the pricker on the underside of the measuring
beaker. Press the egg delicately against the piercing needle
until the egg is pierced.
6. Distribute the eggs evenly and one opposite the other in
the egg tray.
7. Cover it with the lid.
8. Insert the plug in a duly installed socket.
9. Turn the device on using the on/off switch. The control
lamp now illuminates.
10. The eggs are ready when the buzzer sounds. Switch the
device off and remove the mains plug from the socket.
11. Grab the lid by the handles and set it aside.
WARNING:
When opening the lid, tilt it so that the steam may escape
on the sides opposing the handles.
12. Take the egg tray out of the cooking bowl and run the eggs
briefly under cold water so that they do not continue cook-
ing.
13. Leave the device to cool before putting it away!

Cleaning and Storage

WARNING:
Turn the appliance off and disconnect from mains power
supply.
Clean and store the appliance only after it completely
cooled down. Risk of burns!
Never submerge the appliance in water.
CAUTION:
Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive utensils for

Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
Remove the remaining water inside the egg boiler with a
