The theodolite can now be switched on with the
button. Shut off
the unit with the keypad combination
(push a little longer).

The integrated height index assumes the remaining composition
after the device was aligned exactly over the lateral level. If the
display shows TILT in the vertical axis (V), the alignment is either
not correct or the lateral level is severely misaligned.
Now generally aim at the target with the optical sight. Next, tighten
both clamping screws (horizontal/ vertical circle). Focus the
crosshair in the telescope with the telescope eyepiece. Set the
telescope image into focus with the focus ring. Bring the target to
line up with the crosshair by operating the fine drives for horizontal
and vertical adjustment.
Horizontal and vertical angles can be read in the display.
