2.
In this window (Assignment Screen)
you will enter the Slave Game Commander.
At the left lower corner you will see four li-
nes with possible input devices, partially in
black, partially in grey script. If your Slave
Game Commander has been recognized
correctly the second line definitely has to
be in black script. With your cursor, set a
dot in front of the line "USB Interface/Game
Commander #2". In the "Configuration" field
further down you may now enter a name for
the device. You may also assign the various channels of the Game Commander to the
different control functions in this window. But as the Game Controller has not been ca-
librated yet, the red vertical bars my not respond correctly. To close out click on "OK".
3.
Now you are back in the first window "Aircraft
Control Settings". Here your Slave Game Commander
will appear as "New" or under the name you entered in
the "Configuration" field. Make sure, that there is a dot in
the circle under "Aircraft 1" in the blue highlighted Slave
Game Commander line before you exit. If you use the
controller for Aircraft 2 in 2-Player Mode, put the dot un-
der "Aircraft 2". Now click "OK" and go back to the main
menu.
4.
Before you can fly you need to calibrate the Sla-
ve Game Commander first in "Calibrate". In the first
window ("Input Devices") the controller will be listed as
"USB Dummy GC #0". Highlight it blue by clicking on
it. Next click on "Properties" and calibrate it (see AFPD
instructions). Now you may use the Slave Game Com-
mander. If any control functions are reversed when you
start flying, please go back to the Channel Assignment
window in "Controls" and reverse these functions.
