3.4 Operating elements

3.4.1 Return temperature limiter

You can set the desired fluid temperature for
the surface temperature balance with the hand-
wheel. The return temperature limiter integrated
in the valve detects the fluid temperature flow-
ing through and opens and closes the valve
accordingly.
The recommended control range
lies between approximately 25 °C
and approximately 40 °C.

Technical description
NOTICE
Damage to the screed as a re-
sult of incorrect temperatures!
f Observe the instructions of the
screed manufacturer.
f Do not exceed the screed tem-
peratures near the heating pipes
specified as per DIN EN 1264-4.

3.5 "QA" valve insert

Set the flow rate at the handwheel of the "QA"
valve insert using the presetting key (the set
values are visible from outside). This will pro-
tect the setting against unauthorised tamper-
ing. The valve insert is infinitely adjustable. The
setting can be modified whilst the system is in
operation.
