CLEANING AND CARE

• Warning! Unplug the product and let it cool down completely before cleaning.
Never immerse electrical parts of the product in water during cleaning or operation.
Never hold the product under running water.
• Warning! When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard brushes,
metallic or sharp objects. Solvents are harmful to
human health and can attack plastic parts, while
abrasive cleaning mechanisms and tools may scratch
the surface(s).
• Clean the product's exterior surfaces with a slightly
damp cloth and then dry them thoroughly.
• Make sure that no water enters the device interior (for
example, through the switch) or the base.
• For cleaning, the filter can be removed from the kettle.
DESCALING
• Descale your product regularly depending on your water's lime content and
frequency of use.
• Use an off-the-shelf decalcifier and follow the provided instructions.
• As an alternative, you can descale your product with a vinegar solution:
1. Pour 30 ml of white wine vinegar into the kettle and fill the kettle half-full with
water.
2. Boil the solution and let it soak for a minute. Repeat this process three times.
3. Pour the solution down the drain and rinse the kettle thoroughly with water.
4. Fill the kettle with fresh, clean water. Bring to a boil and pour this water down the
drain. To get rid of the smell of vinegar, repeat this step several times.
• The filter can be soaked in a vinegar solution to descale it.
