Absolute-angle measurement
1. Press the Power Button to turn on the digital
level. Place the digital level on a working
surface with the Angle Base flat against the
surface. The display indicates the absolute
angle between the working surface and true
level (FIG.3).
2. To level the working surface, move the
surface with the tool on it until the angle
readout is 0.0°.
3. To plumb the working surface, move the
surface with the tool on it until the angle
readout is 90.0°.
4. The bubble vials may be referenced to
level or plumb the working surface. When
the bubbles are exactly in the middle of the
marks on the vials, the work surface against
which the tool is pressed is either level or plumb.

of 0° and 90°. The height and direction of the arrows
the deviation of the angle relative to 0° or 90°. Follow the arrow icons to fine tune the position
of the tool to level or plumb.
Relative-angle measurement
Use the relative-angle measurement to measure the angle difference between two working
surfaces.
1. Place the digital level on the first working surface with the Angle Base flat against the
surface.
2. Turn on the digital level. The LCD screen indicates the absolute angle between true level
and the working surface.
3. Press the Relative-Angle Measurement Button
measurement mode. The current angle will be set to be 0.0° and the LCD will display REF.
4. Place the digital level on the second working surface with the Angle Base flat against the
surface; the relative angle between the first working surface and the second working surface
will be displayed.
5. Press the Relative-Angle Measurement Button
more than 1 sec) to return to the absolute angle measurement.
