Do not use the device in rooms containing easily fl ammable dust

or toxic and explosive vapours.
Keep fl ammable materials such as paper, fabric, wood, plastics,

petrol or solvents away from the device. In particular, ensure
that furnishings such as upholstered furniture or curtains are at
a distance of at least 1 m from the heating surface of the de-
vice. There should be at least 0.5 m of space behind the device.
Please ensure that this is also the case when the device is tur-
ned off so no risk arises if the device is accidentally activated.
Do not in any case cover the device. Do not in any case hang

laundry or the like over the device in order to dry it.
Avoiding damage to materials, property and the device
■
Check the device for damages prior to each use. Only use the device if it, the mains
cord and the plug do not exhibit any damages!

In the event of damages/malfunctions, immediately deactivate the device.

Do not allow the device to fall and do not subject it to strong percussions. If the de-
vice has fallen down, parts on the inside may have been damaged as a result without
this being apparent from the outside. Only have the device, cord and plug repaired
by a qualifi ed workshop. Contact customer service if necessary. Improper repairs
could pose serious risks for the user.

Maintain adequate distance to heat sources such as stoves or ovens to prevent da-
mage to the device. Do not place any open fl ames, e.g. burning candles, in the direct
vicinity of the device, cord and plug.

Do not place any heavy objects on the device, the cord and the plug.
■
The device may not be set up directly under a wall socket!
■
Do not insert any objects in the openings on the device.
■
Do not pull or carry the device by the cord.
■
Do not use any additional accessories.
■
Do not subject the device to extreme temperatures, severe changes in temperature,
moisture, wetness or direct sunlight.
■
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device. They
could damage the surface.
■
Only move the device once it has cooled off completely.
