Draining condensate from pres-
sure vessel
Only devices without membrane dryer!
1. Place a suitable vessel under the conden-
sate drain.
2. To drain condensate, the pressure must
be approx. 2 bar.
3. Open the ball valve (item 09).
4. Close the ball valve when the flow of con-
densate stops.
Dispose of condensate in accordance with
local specifications!
Caution: Wear safety glasses!

Checking the screw fittings
• Check that all the screw connections are
secure, and retighten them if necessary.

Cleaning the intake filter
1. Unscrew the intake filter. (Fig. 5a)
2. Clean the filter insert using the blow gun,
exchange the filter insert if necessary.
3. Screw the intake filter back on.
Do not purge the intake opening. No for-
eign objects may enter.
Never operate the compressor without an
intake filter.

Cleaning/replacing the check
valve
1. Unscrew the locking screw (Figure 6a).
2. Clean insert, replace in case of damage,
squeezing or hardening.
3. Clean seat, replace complete check valve
if damaged.
2.6.10 Prefilter (VF)
Only devices with membrane dryer!
Changing the filter element
1. Remove the filter housing (Fig. 3b).
2. Grip the filter element at the outer edge
between the two locking hooks and pull
it out.
3. Turn the closure in the direction of the
arrow and release the filter element.
4. Replace the filter.
5. For installation, proceed in reverse order.
Contaminated filter elements may lead to
a loss of power or may even cause the
membrane dryer to develop a fault.
2.6.11 Microfilter (FF)
Only devices with membrane dryer!

Change filter element
1. Remove the filter housing.
2. Unscrew the filter element (Fig. 3a) and
insert a new filter element.
3. Installation is performed in reverse or-
der.
Clogged filter elements lead to a loss in
performance or may damage the mem-
brane dryer!
2.6.12 Replacing the safety valve
1. Unscrew the safety valve (item 11) anti-
clockwise.
2. Apply medium-strength thread-locking
fluid, e.g. Loctite® 243, to the thread of
the new safety valve or wrap Teflon tape
around the valve.
3. Tightly screw the new safety valve in
clockwise.
2.6.13 Removing the sound absorbing
cover
Only devices with sound absorbing cover!
1. Loosen the screws and open the housing
as shown in Fig. 8a.
2. Close the housing and tighten the
screws.
2.6.14 Remove the sound-insulating
housing
Only devices with sound-insulating hous-
ing.
1. Push the supplied key into the lock, then
turn it and open the housing (Fig. 9a).
2. Close the housing and lock the lock.
2.7 Decommissioning
Store the compressor in a dust-free and dry
area where it is not exposed to high tem-
perature fluctuations.

Do not dispose of the device in
household waste! Recycle de-
vices, accessories and packaging.
Observe applicable national regu-
lations.

lected separately and handed in for environ-
mentally friendly recycling.
