Risk of electric shock (car)
• Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it
becomes damaged.
• Do not use the product if the charging cable,
adapter cable or power cable is damaged.
• Do not attempt to service or repair the product
yourself. Leave any and all service work to qualified
experts.
Warning – rechargeable battery
• Only use suitable charging devices or USB
connections to charge the product.
• Do not use defective chargers or USB ports and do
not attempt to repair them.
• Do not overcharge the product or allow the battery
to completely discharge.
• Avoid storing, charging and using in extreme
temperatures and at extremely low atmospheric
pressures (such as at high altitudes).
• Charge regularly (at least quarterly) during periods
of prolonged storage.
• Do not charge and discharge the product at the
same time.
Note - 12 V line voltage
The charger is compatible with a line voltage of
12 V.
Note - car battery
With some vehicles, it can happen that power
continues to be supplied even though the ignition has
been switched off. You should therefore disconnect
the product from the line connection when not in use
to protect your car battery from being drained.
5. Getting started
• The Bluetooth
receiver has an integrated Li-Po
®
rechargeable battery. Prior to initial commissioning,
fully charge the Bluetooth
12 V USB charger using the on-board electrical
system.
• Insert the Bluetooth

charging port (9). Then connect the USB charger to
the vehicle's 12 V socket.

• Alternatively, the device can also be charged via
a micro-USB cable (not included in the extent of
delivery) connected to a suitable power source (USB
charger or USB port on a PC/notebook).
• The status LED lights up solid red during the charging
process.
• The charging process begins and ends automatically.
• Once the charging process is complete, the status LED
goes out - the battery is fully charged.
6. Operation
6.1 Initial connection via Bluetooth® (pairing)

• Connect the Bluetooth
jack socket (or AUX) on the receiving device (e.g. on
the car radio).
• Press the multi-function key (1) for 3 seconds to
switch the Bluetooth
search mode (LED (6) flashes blue).
• Then activate the Bluetooth
transmitting device (e.g. smartphone) and select the
device "BT09".
• The status LED (6) lights up solid blue - the device is
paired and ready to use.

• Some devices require a password in order to
connect to another Bluetooth
• If your device requests a password to connect, enter
the password 0000, 1234, 1111 or 8888.
6.2 Terminating the connection
• Press the multi-function key (1) for 3 seconds to
terminate the connection and switch off the device.
6.3 Automatic connection
• For a further connection with the Bluetooth
receiver, you simply need to switch the device on.
The last transmitting device is pre-set to ensure fast
connectivity.
