USE
1. make sure that the baking plates are clean. if necessary, wipe them clean with a
clean, damp cloth.
2. at the first use, smear in the baking plates with a little vegetable oil, butter or
margarine.
3. Close the lid.
4. Plug in the sandwich maker. the orange light will go on and the appliance will
start to heat up immediately. Let the sandwich maker heat up until the green light
goes on. at that point, the appliance has reached the right temperature.
5. open the lid and place the sandwich on the bottom plate.
tiP: to obtain a golden brown colour, you can smear some butter on the outside
of the sandwich.
6. Close the lid. Be careful, as there may escape steam from the sides of the
sandwich maker. make sure that there are no body parts coming into contact with
the hot steam.
7. Seal the lid with the safety lock clip.
8. the ideal baking time depends on your personal taste and on the kind of bread
and sandwich filling you are using.
9. the thermostat will switch on and off to keep the baking plates at the right
temperature. this also prevents overheating.
