ASSEMBLING AND DISASSEMBLING THE WOOL BONNET AND SANDING DISC

Be sure to switch power OFF and disconnect the plug from the receptacle to avoid serious trouble.
For use as a Polisher

<Using the backing pad (Fig. 4)>
(1) Press the lock pin to secure the spindle and tighten
the backing pad by rotating the outer circumference.
(2) Wrap the sponge pad (magic type) (optional
accessory) with the hood of the wool bonnet
(optional accessory) and fi rmly secure it by tying a
string around it. Be sure the excess string is fi rmly
tucked inside the wool bonnet to prevent it from
fl ying out while polishing.
The unbalanced fitting of the wool bonnet may
cause vibration (Fig. 5).
(3) Adhere the sponge pad (Magic type) with the wool
bonnet attached by pressing it firmly against the
backing pad. Align the respective centers when
attaching. If not centered, vibration will result.
(4) To remove the wool bonnet, follow the above-
mentioned procedure in reverse order.
