7. After use, switch off the pump and remove the
mains plug from the mains.
8. Lift the pump back out of the water.
Manual operation
Where manual operation is preferred, the motor
can be activated by raising the float switch (3) by
hand (ON) or lowering it by hand (OFF).
Finish operation
After use allow the pump to run using clean water
for 2 - 3 minutes in order to remove residues and
particles that may have accumulated in the pump
and outlet hose.
5. MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning and maintenance, always
switch off the machine and remove the
mains plug from the mains.
During maintenance or cleaning never rest
the appliance of the on the turbine
(impeller).
There are no user serviceable parts in this ap-
pliance. If the appliance appears to be blocked,
switch off the power at the mains, remove the plug
from the socket and check the appliance for block-
ages (see 'Blockages').
BLOCKAGES
If you suspect the pump has become blocked,
switch off the power at the mains socket remove
the plug and examine the turbine. The turbine can
be accessed by removing the securing screws in
the base and/or sub base. Alternately try reaching
the suspected blockage through the outlet (7) in
the side of the pump.
Always flush through with clean water after
every use.
STORAGE AND FROST POTECTION
The submersible pump and accessories that are
not completely drained can be destroyed by frost.
Completely drain the submersible pump and acces-
sories and protect them against frost.
Keep this appliance in well-ventilated dry premises
with temperature not going below +5°C.
When not in use, keep this appliance stored in a
safe place out of reach of children.
