CARING FOR YOUR RICE COOKER
CLEAN THE YOUR RICE COOKER AFTER EVERY USE.
•
Unplug the unit from the mains socket when it is not in use and before cleaning.
NEVER immerse the heating element in water. Allow the Rice Cooker to cool
before cleaning.
•
Never use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads or steel wool to clean this
appliance.
•
To clean the Base Unit, lightly wipe the exterior with a damp cloth or sponge. DO
NOT IMMERSE THE BASE UNIT IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID! Dry thoroughly
with a soft cloth.
•
Take the Inner Pot out of the Rice Cooker and fill with hot water. Leave to soak
for a while, then wash in hot soapy water and dry thoroughly with a cloth.
•
The Measuring Cup and Spatula can be washed in warm soapy water. They are
not dishwasher proof.
•
Wipe down the inside of the Lid with a clean, damp cloth or sponge.
•
Make sure that there are no grains of rice stuck to the Heating Element in the
bottom of the Base Unit. If any grains of rice are stuck to the Heating Element,
a non-abrasive pad can be used to remove them. Clean this area carefully to
ensure good contact between the Heating Element and the bottom of the Inner
Pot.
•
This appliance has no user serviceable parts. Never try to repair this appliance
yourself. This is dangerous and could cause accidents or damage the appliance.
Return the unit to the manufacturer for any repairs.

THIS APPLIANCE IS FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.

Do not use bleach, vinegar or other harsh chemicals to clean your Automatic Rice
Cooker.
