▪ If the appliance becomes blocked during use, switch it off immedi-
ately and remove the offending object, for example a piece of fruit
or vegetable which has become stuck.
▪ Allow boiling liquids to cool to 80°C before blending. Caution!
There is a scald hazard when working with hot liquids.
▪ Stop using the appliance and/or connect it from the mains plug
immediately if:

There is any suspicion of a fault after dropping the appliance
or similar.
In such cases, send the appliance to be repaired.
▪ Do not immerse the drive unit in water.
▪ Do not use the appliance outdoors.
▪ No liability is accepted for damages resulting from misuse, incor-
rect operation, improper repairs or the use of accessories not
designed for this appliance. Claims under warranty are likewise
excluded in such cases.
▪ The appliance is not designed for commercial use.
▪ If the appliance's connection cable is damaged then it must be
replaced by the manufacturer's central customer service depart-
ment or by a similarly qualified person. Improper repairs may
constitute a serious threat for users.
Start-up
The immersion blender can be used to blend soft fruit and cooked
vegetables, or to prepare baby food or purees. Large items should be
roughly chopped beforehand.
The egg whisk is designed for stirring and mixing shakes, instant soups
and sauces and for preparing mayonnaise, as well as for whipping
cream.
