In order to utilise all functions of your new OLYMP shampoo unit „LavaSit Diner" optimally, please read the
operation instructions carefully.
Safety warnings for the version with electrically vibro-massage function:
The shampoo unit is intended for operation in clean and dry rooms at normal room temperature.
•
Installation as well as maintenance and repair work must only be carried out by authorised service
•
personnel or an OLYMP technician. The attached installation instructions „Floor fitting and inline
installation" or „Wall fitting and in-line installation" are intended for these persons only.
Residual current protection should be already installed in the domestic circuitry. The electrical
•
connector and installation of the residual current protection must only be installed in the domestic
circuit by a qualified electrician.
We recommend a regular check according to BGV A2 / VDE 0701 / VDE 0702 be performed by
•
authorised service personnel.
The LavaSit Diner unit must be operated and combined only with accessories (see point 4) which are
•
approved by the manufacturer.
Instruct the authorised service personnel when performing maintenance or repairs that only original
•
components from the manufacturer must be used.
The shampoo unit with power supply cable must not be connected to the power supply by means of an
•
extension cable. The power supply plug must be accessible at all times, so that it can be isolated from
the wall socket at any time.
In case of in-line installation of several wash units, the power supply cable must not be connected via a
•
further unit.
In case the power supply cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or his service
•
contractor or a similarly qualified person in order to prevent hazard.
Cleaning and care of the shampoo unit (see 1.c) must only be performed by cleaners who have received
•
instructions.
With in-line installation of several shampoo units a mains cable may not be led through a further
•
shampoo unit due to electro technical regulations.
1. Basin (Fig. 2)
a. Basin with single lever mixing battery and hand spray
The intensity and temperature of the water jet are regulated by means of the mixer battery
•
lever.
b. Hair sieve
To clean the hair sieve, remove it from the drain outlet by means of the handle.
•
c. Cleaning of basin and base
Rub dry with a soft cloth or microfibre cloth.
•
Stubborn spots and calcified deposits should be removed using a mild cleansing agent.
•
On no account should abrasive cleansers or solvents be used!
