7. Remote Control / Laser Detector
7.1 Equipment
The laser detector has a clear
zero mark, which is 50mm
from the lower edge and
75mm from the upper edge.
7.2 Radio remote control functions
The radio remote control allows the rotation laser to be controlled within a maximum radius of
50 metres. There does not have to be a line of sight connection between the remote control and
the rotation laser. The remote control is also operative when the laser detector is switched off.
Note:
• The radio remote control and the rotation laser use an intelligent encoding of the trans-
mitted commands in order to ensure that the rotation laser cannot be affected by un-
wanted sources of interference (garage door openers etc.).
• When a command is transmitted by the remote control, this emits a short beep.
• The reception of control signals from the remote control at the rotation laser can be rec-
ognised by the flashing of indicator 7.
Tip:
The same symbols on the remote control and on the rotation laser have the same meaning. The
following functions can be checked using the remote control:

Setting the speed
Line width and position
Manual inclination of the laser plane
