ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The manufacturer is never liable if these instructions
are not observed.
Never run the appliance when empty.
Never place the accessories in the oven or
microwave.
ALWAYS disconnect the appliance from the mains
outlet when it is not being used or when changing
parts.
Make sure that no long hair, scarves, ties, etc. are
hanging above the bowl or accessories when the
appliance is operating.
The blades are very sharp. Avoid physical contact
when emptying and cleaning the appliance. You could
be seriously injured. The blade (9, 10, 11, 12) must
be removed from the drive shaft before emptying
the bowl.
Never touch moving parts. Wait until the appliance
has completely stopped before removing any
accessories.
Never fill the mixing bowl (2, 3) with boiling liquid.
Never use the mixing bowl (2, 3) with only dry
ingredients (hazelnuts, chocolate), as this will cause
the appliance to overheat.
Always use the food pusher to press food into the
filling shaft. Never put your hand, fingers, forks,
spoons, knives or other objects in the shaft.
11
To prevent overheating, never use the appliance
continuously for more than 1 minute. Let the
appliance cool down for a few minutes between each
use.
Never use the food processor in a damp room.
Only use the food processor when the lid is attached
to the bowl.
Do not put hot liquids in the blending cup, as this
will produce steam and the resulting pressure could
cause the lid to blow off. Warm liquids can be put
into the blender, but do not fill it more than half.
Hot liquids should therefore be allowed to cool for
at least 5 minutes. Hold the lid in place with a cloth
during mixing.
