TROUBLESHOOTING

WARNING: Stop using the tool immediately if any of the following problems
occur. Serious personal injury may result. Any repairs or replacements must be

 Disconnect the tool from air supply before performing any service procedure.
 When inserting new or re-installing O-rings, make sure they are clean and
lubricated with an O-ring lubricant.
PROBLEM
Air leaking at trigger area
Air leaking from the lower
body and the nose
Air leaking from the upper
body and the nose
Failure to start tool
Blade driving fasteners too
deeply

CAUSE
O-ring in trigger valve stem is worn and
damaged
O-ring in trigger valve head is worn or
damaged
Contains foreigh matter
Screw is loose at connection between nose
and body
O-ring is damaged between body and nose
Bumper is damaged
Foreign matter at the contact between
bumper and body
Screw is loose at connection between
cylinder and body
O-ring is damaged
Gasket is damaged
Tool dry, lack of lubrication
Spring in the cylinder cap is damaged
Valve sticks to cylinder cap
Safety bracket position is incorrect
Air pressure is too high
.
SOLUTION
Check/replace O-ring & lubricate
Check/replace O-ring & lubricate
Clean the tool & lubricate
Tighten screw & re-check
Check/replace O-ring & lubricate
Replace the bumper
Disassemble & clean
Tighten screw & re-check
Check/replace O-ring & lubricate
Replace the gasket
Use pneumatic tool oil
Replace spring in the cylinder cap
Disassemble, clean & lubricate
Rotate depth adjustment know to move the
safety bracket down
Decrease air pressure
