Section 7 Troubleshooting
For general problems with HART module communications, try the corrective actions listed below. If
the problem continues or other problems occur, contact technical support.
• Make sure the connections between the module and the HART host are correct.
• Make sure the loop supply is live.
• Make sure the HART host is set to the correct device address.
• Check the module network setup for the selected channel. Make sure that the installed device is
mapped to the selected channel. Make sure the SET LOW VALUE and the SET HIGH VALUE are
within the range of the selected source.
• If the HART output from the HART host cannot be trimmed or fixed, make sure that the analyzer
does not have an error that makes the analyzer hold or transfer the output at a fixed value.
Description
Sets a value (mA) on the selected output. The simulation stops after the
user exits the screen.
Displays the values at the outputs (4–20 mA).
Displays information about the installed HART module.
