10. For the VHD60BS, VHD60BW, VHD90BS and VHD90BW, attach the back of the
cooker hood to the wall.
11. M ount the chimney:
• Put the inner chimney in the outer chimney.
• Attach plate I on the outer chimney with two 4mm x 8mm screws.
NOTICE! Do not tighten the screws. Leave 1mm distance so that the height
can be adjusted later.
12. Put the chimney on the cooker hood.
13. Determine the location of plate I and plate II.
14. Remove the chimney from the cooker hood.
15. Drill the four holes in the wall to attach plate I and plate II with the 8mm drill.
16. Insert the four wall plugs.
17. D o one of the following:
• When the cooker hood is used with an active carbon filter, install the active
carbon filter:
NOTICE! An active carbon filter is used to remove odours when the
connection of the cooker hood to an exhaust pipe is not possible. Carbon
filters should not be washed or cleaned. Replace the carbon filters every 3 to
6 months.
