HM22 HAND-HELD MIXER
TIPS
The ingredients for cake mix, for example, should be at as far as possible at
room temperature. It is therefore advisable to take the eggs and butter out of
the refrigerator about an hour before starting.
Warm the bowl and the mixing elements/dough hooks before creaming fat
and sugar. Just pour hot (not boiling) water into the bowl and leave the mixing
elements in it for a few minutes.
If you are whipping egg whites make sure that the whisks and the bowl are
absolutely clean. If there is the slightest trace of fat or egg yolk, the whites will
not whip and they may turn flaky.
Take care not to run the mixer too long when adding dry ingredients. Switch off
when the mixture is well mixed.
CLEANING
Always disconnect from the mains before cleaning.
Remove the blender or mixing elements/dough hooks and clean them under the
tap or in soapy water.
The blender and the mixing elements/dough hooks are not dishwasher proof.
Do not use any abrasives or solvents for cleaning.
The motor casing can be cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
THE APPLIANCE MUST NOT BE IMMERSED IN WATER OR HELD UNDER THE TAP!
