ART. 1498/24 BATTERY BOOSTER

Important note: BEFORE BEING USED FOR THE FIRST TIME, THE BATTERY BOOSTER MUST BE CHARGED
WITH THE SUPPLIED CHARGER FOR AT LEAST 12 HOURS
1-SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Wear safety goggles while using the Battery Booster.
Only use the accessories supplied and recommended by the manufacturer, to avoid hazards to things or people.
Never pull the cable or the charger; get hold of the plug.
Never recharge the Battery Booster with any clearly damaged accessories; contact your dealer to have them replaced.
The Battery Booster can be used under any weather conditions (rain, snow...).
Never immerse the Battery Booster in water.
Never put the red clamp into contact with the black one; do not connect them to the same piece of metal, to avoid short
circuits.
Do not use the Battery Booster in the presence of naked inflammables or in explosive environments.
Never leave the Battery Booster uncharged for long periods. This might cause irreversible damage to the batteries.
Do not try to repair the Battery Booster on your own; always rely on the manufacturer, to maintain the validity of the
warranty. Such repairs must be carried out by experienced and technically skilled staff.
IMPORTANT: When the Battery Booster is not in use, it must be recharged at least every 3 months (only in
12V mode); however, it should always be kept charged, to preserve the battery life.
2-GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
Battery type: solid electrolyte lead sealed battery (AGM) compliant with IATA safety standards.
The supplied automatic charger allows the device to be safely connected non-stop.
The cigarette lighter 12V outlet can be used to recharge the Battery Booster. Since it is fitted with a 20A thermal
contactor, it can be connected to all 12V devices.
The clamps are completely insulated, and the copper cables are extremely flexible.
Protection against voltage peaks.
3- SAFETY SPECIFICATIONS
To prevent any short circuits and protect the clamps, these must always be replaced on their supports when not in
use.
The device can be used and stored in any position.
4- CHARGE LEVEL DISPLAY
To display the charge level, press the front switch next to the LEDs. If all of the 5 LEDs go on, the device is fully char-
ged (the 5th LED indicates that recharging is complete and goes out when the Battery Booster is no longer connected
to the voltage source).
5- RECHARGING
Plug the connector into the 12V socket. Plug the supplied automatic charger into a 230V socket.
WARNING: THE BATTERY BOOSTER MUST NOT BE RECHARGED IN 24V MODE; IT CAN ONLY BE RECHARGED
IN 12V MODE.
To recharge the Battery Booster by the car cigarette lighter, use the supplied cable (preferably after starting the vehicle).
The recharging time is approximately 4-5 hours.
If recharging is performed through the power supply mains, the recharging time may vary from 4 to 8 hours, depending
on the general state of the battery.
THE BATTERY BOOSTER SHOULD ALWAYS BE CONNECTED TO THE POWER SUPPLY MAINS WHEN NOT IN
USE.
