g) Boat Rack Installation
The scope of delivery includes a boat rack of wood
that has to be assembled and glued together first.
Build the boat rack of the four wood parts as shown
in figure 3.
The side parts (figure 3, item 1) must be built so that
the wide side points down.
The side parts are attached into the long parts (figure
3, item 2).
Glue the wood parts on with a drop of viscous in-
stant adhesive or some 5-minute epoxy glue.
h) Assembly of the „Stinger"
The „Stinger" of a Scorpion gives the ship model its unique appearance and is an eye-catcher on any body of water.
Install the „Stinger" at the model's rear with four screws M4 x 25 mm.
Check before each run that the four attachment screws are fitted tightly. When in operation, observe that the
stinger must be at the centre of gravity of the model to place the tipping moment clearly higher up. We
recommend not performing any hectic maneuvers to prevent capsizing of the model.
