WARNING: Shut off the power at the circuit breaker or fuse panel before removing the old fixture, ballast, or
fluorescent tubes.
If you are unfamiliar with electrical installations, we recommend you contact a qualified electrician to do the installation.
LED linear tubes require single end power only. Wiring to one side of the fixture is sufficient. Ensure the lamp end labeled
"POWER THIS END" is installed to the live circuit.
CAUTION: Sockets or lampholders must be non-shunted. Power flows through the LED tube.
INSTALLATION
1. Shut off power at the electrical panel before beginning the installation.
2. Remove existing fluorescent tubes and set aside to recycle in accordance with local requirements.
3. Remove and set aside the ballast cover, if needed.
4. Remove the existing shunted sockets and insert non-shunted sockets (B) into the fixture brackets to replace the
previous sockets.
NOTE: These LED Tubes (A) only work with non-shunted sockets (B).
5. Disconnect the hot and neutral (black and white) wires from the fluorescent ballast. The ballast is not required to
operate these 4ft. LED tubes (A).
• Use wire connectors (not included) to cover any exposed wiring after disconnecting the ballast.
• Optional: Cut the wires on both ends of the ballast and remove the ballast and starter. Dispose of the ballast and
recycle in accordance with local requirements.
6. Push the solid copper jumper wires (C) into the holes on the
non-shunted sockets (B). Wire each socket as noted in the
wiring diagram.
7. Connect to the Power Source
• Connect the hot and neutral (black and white) solid
copper jumper wires (C) to the same color wires from the
electrical source.
• Cover the wire connections using the wire connectors
(not included).
• Wrap the wire connectors (not included) with electrical
tape for a more secure connection.
• Install LED Grow Light tubes (A) with the end labeled
"power this end" to the wired sockets and turn each tube
a quarter turn to lock it in place.
L
8. Restore power at the electrical panel and turn on the light
switch to activate the fixture.
9. Choose between Full Spectrum white light and Dual Band
Spectrum purple light by flipping the wall switch wired to
L
the circuit.
NOTE: The default setting is Full Spectrum white.
To change to Dual Band Spectrum purple, turn the
wall switch off and on again. To change back to Full
Spectrum white, simply flip the wall switch again.

or even fatal. • Ensure the electricity to the wires you are working on is shut off. Either remove the fuse or turn
off the circuit breaker. • This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installation codes by a
person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved. • Risk of electrical
shock. To reduce the possibility of serious injury, always take the proper precautions and unplug the fixture before
moving or cleaning.
CAUTION: To prevent eye damage, avoid looking directly at the unshielded LEDs. • Ensure the fuse or circuit
breaker provides sufficient amperage for the 105°C rated power cord.
NOTICE: Suitable for operation in ambient temperatures not exceeding 45°C/113°F. The temperature of the
environment should be controlled via a mechanical ventilation system, cooling system, or other means to ensure the

Power this end » sur les douilles câblées. Tournez le tube
L
