SETUP
Check for system update. Nintendo system update version 6.0.1 or later is required for use
of PowerA Wireless controllers.
1. Connect your Nintendo Switch to the Internet
2. Typically, system updates will be downloaded automatically when connected online.
3. Select 'System Settings' from HOME menu, then scroll down to 'System' to see System
Update version and automatically check for system update.
For additional help, search 'system update' from Nintendo Support website.

BATTERY INSTALLATION

1. Remove the battery door on bottom panel and install (2) AA Alkaline Batteries
(included).
2. Confirm your Nintendo Switch Console is powered ON.
WIRED MODE
1. Make sure your Nintendo Switch System is powered on and connected to your TV.
2. Insert the USB cable into a USB port on the Nintendo Switch Dock. Connect the other
end of the cable to the wired controller. Your wired controller is now ready for use.
3. For wired mode, make sure the Arcade stick "battery mode" is turned off.
WIRELESS PAIRING
1. Battery Mode switch should be "ON" for wireless mode.
2. From the HOME Menu, select "Controllers," then "Change Grip and Order." While the
pairing screen is displayed, press and hold down the SYNC Button for at least three
seconds on the Arcade Stick you wish to pair.
NOTE: Once Arcade Stick is paired once, it will auto-connect next time.
UNDERSTANDING LED INDICATORS
There are two LED locations on this Arcade Stick: top-
left and along front edge.
1. The front edge LED near the Sync button will flash
Red when the Alkaline batteries are getting near
depletion. Replace Alkaline batteries once low
battery indicator is flashing to avoid interrupting
gameplay.
2. The top-left LED location has four LEDs (in the control
panel next to Home/View buttons) and indicate
player number 1-8 and will cycle from left to right
during wireless pairing.
INSTRUCTIONS
FACEPLATE REMOVAL
1. U
sing Phillips screwdriver, remove 6 screws on the face of the Arcade stick, and place
in a safe location.
2. Next unscrew and remove the joystick knob, with plastic sleeve and dust cover, and
lift-off the acrylic cover.
3. Carefully remove the default face-card graphic and replace with the new facecard
graphic.
4. Reverse process above to
with new
re-assemble
face-card graphic in place.
D-PAD TOGGLE SWITCH
The D-Pad toggle switch can be changed on the fly to any of these three settings:
DP: This will work like a normal 8-way D-pad
LS: This will convert the joystick into a digital emulation of the left thumb stick and how
it is mapped in game. This will be useful for games that do not support movement or
commands from a D-pad.
RS: This will convert the joystick into a digital emulation of the right thumb stick and how
that use the RS for
it is mapped to in game functions. This will be useful for games
camera movements and other in game features not supported using a D-pad.
