NONCOMPLIANCE WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS LISTED IN THIS HANDBOOK.
• Check for transport damage and complete delivery before fi rst use. When is doubt, contact HYDAS before using
the device.
• The electric underblanket must not be used by heat-sensitive persons or other vulnerable individuals who might not
be able to respond to excessive heating (e.g. also including diabetics, people who suff er from health-related skin
mutations or scarred skin in the application area or who have consumed analgesics or alcohol).
• BAG IS NOT A TOY! TO AVOID DANGER OF SUFFOCATION, KEEP THIS BAG AWAY FROM CHILDREN!
• This appliance should only be connected to the DC mains with the voltage given on type sign on the appliance. The
type and ID plate is found on the control unit of the device.
• This device is for home use only.
• The electric underblanket is not designed for being used at clinics.
• Children under the age of three are not to use this appliance due to their inability to react to overheating.
• The appliance must only be used by or with small children (3-8 years) if the control/control elements have been pre-
set by the parents or another attendant or if the respective child has adequately been instructed on how to use the
control/control elements safely.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge when supervised.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Do not allow unattended children to clean and/or service the appliance.
• If you intend to use the underblanket with an adjustable bed, first make sure it will not get stuck or crumbled up.
• The electric and magnetic fi elds generated by this electric underblanket might aff ect the functions of pacemakers
or implantable defibrillators. Please consult your physician or the implant's manufacturer before using this electric
underblanket.
• Pregnant women are recommended to consult their physician before using the electric underblanket.
• After use pull plug out off mains plug. Never pull the plug out of the socket from the cable.
• If the mains cable is damaged it must be replaced by an authorized repair centre to avoid a hazard. The device may
not be used until the defect has been remedied by a qualified person.
• The device may only be used with the controller of article 3082515 (model 4658.1.00).
• Do NOT place the control unit underneath the pillow or in between the sheets recovers when the appliance is swit-
ched on. The control unit will heat up.
• Do not place any items (like suitcases or laundry baskets) or heat sources like hot water bottles, heating pads and the
like on the electric underblanket when it is switched on.
• Do not use if bent or folded and do not fold blanket if still warm.
• Do not crease the appliance by placing items on top of it during storage.
• Do not use if wet or damp.
• Do not prick in with needles or other sharp objects.
• Please adjust to the level 1 if use it for a long time.
• To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock or injury to persons:
• Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after using and before cleaning.
