ADDITIONS GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Read all general safety instructions carefully and keep them for future use.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the
following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Install in accordance with this supplied user manual.
3. Check whether the nominal power indications on the rating plate match those of your local network
before connecting the device to the mains.
4. Only use the device for its intended use. Only use the supplied accessories.
5. WARNING: this electrical appliance contains a heating function. Surfaces, also different than the
functional surfaces, can develop high temperatures. Since temperatures are differently perceived by
different persons, this equipment shall be used with CAUTION. The equipment shall be touch only at
intended handles and gripping surfaces, and use heat protection like gloves or similar. Surfaces
other than intended gripping surfaces shall get sufficiently time to the cool down before getting
touched.
6. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking
off parts.
7. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
8. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
9. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
10. Never use sharp or abrasive objects in combination with this device.
11. Keep the device and power cable out of reach of children.
12. Keep the device and the accompanying power cable away from heat sources or sharp edges that
may cause damage.
13. Keep the power cable away from parts of the device that become warm during use.
14. Keep the device away from other devices that radiate heat.
15. Never operate the device with wet hands.
16. Always disconnect the product from the mains both after use and before cleaning or maintenance.
17. After use, always make sure that the device has cooled off completely before cleaning, maintaining
or storing the device.
18. WARNING: keep the device away from flammable materials.
19. Unplug this device during lightning storms or when unused for a long period.
20. WARNING: never insert an object into the product through the vents or openings. High voltage flows
through the product and inserting an object can cause electric shock and/or short circuit internal
parts. For the same reason, do not spill water or liquid on the product.
21. Although this device is manufactured with the utmost care and checked several times before leaving
