Intended Use
The machine is intended for the fragmentary removal
and scraping off of coverings, the remains of adhe-
sives, paints or filler material and for the smoothing of
irregularities as well as for carving work in soft wood.

If the cable is damaged or cut through while work-

ing, do not touch the cable but immediately pull the
mains plug. Never use the machine with a damaged
cable.
Connect machines that are used in the open via a

FI protection switch with an actuating current of
30 mA maximum. Do not operate the machine in
rain or moisture.

Always direct the cable to the rear away from the

machine.
Wear safety glasses.

Danger of injury from material particles that splinter

off and fly about.
Secure the workpiece. A workpiece clamped with
s
clamping devices or in a vice is held more secure
than by hand.
Do not work with moistened materials such as wall-

paper or on damp areas.
Do not soak the area to be worked with liquids con-

tains solvents. As a result of the warming of the
worked material while scraping, poisonous vapours
could be produced.
Working with material containing asbestos is not

permitted.
When working with the machine, always hold it firmly
s
with both hands and provide for a secure stance.
Never allow children to use the machine.

Before Use
Inserting the Tools
Press the tool lock 3 and slide the tool 5 with the work-
ing edge pointing downward into the tool holder 4 to
the stop.
