3) USING YOUR APPLIANCE

a) Using your appliance for the first time
Before using your appliance for the first time, read the following instructions carefully and keep them
for future reference.
Clean the grill plate with warm soapy water and soft sponge. Do not use abrasive detergents or metal
scourers.
After cleaning, the grill plate must be dried. Special care must be taken to dry the inside of the plug
socket thoroughly.
b) Using your appliance
- Turn the thermostat so that the "0" position lines up with the indicator lights.
- Plug the appliance into the mains and select the required cooking temperature by aligning the
thermostat with the pilot light in the connection assembly. The pilot light will come on. When the pilot
light switches off, it indicates that the grill tray has reached the selected temperature.
- After use, turn the thermostat back to "0", unplug the appliance and leave to cool before handling.
