Enable/disable, for each individual section, the transmission of all MIDI messages.
-
Assignment of MIDI channel for reception / transmission on each section.

Storing in every combination of a Program Change message and its transmission.
For more information about the MIDI protocol and a detailed description of all messages transmitted and
received by the instrument, please refer to par. 7.5 and "MIDI Implementation".

5.1 ENABLING / DISABLING TRANSMISSION OF THE MIDI MESSAGES

With the factory settings, the transmission of MIDI messages is enabled for all three sections on the three
MIDI channels assigned to them.
If necessary, you can disable transmission for one or more sections. Follow this procedure to do so:
1.
Press and hold the [TRANSPOSER] button until all the LEDs on the panel flash twice, with the
LED on the [TRANSPOSER] button flashing continuously.
2.
As shown in screen printing, the [BASS] registers indicate the three instrument sections and shows
the status of MIDI data transmission according to the rule:
-
Register on: transmission enabled
-
Register off: transmission disabled
3.
Press the top or bottom of the desired section register to change the status of the MIDI
transmission.
4.
Press the [TRANSPOSER] button to complete and store the operation.

5.2 SELECTING MIDI CHANNELS

With the factory settings, the MIDI transmission and reception channels are as follows:
-
Bass section: MIDI channel 4
-
Manual section I: MIDI channel 1
-
Manual Section II: MIDI channel 2
If you want to change the channels associated with the sections, follow this procedure:
1.
Press and hold the [TRANSPOSER] button until all the LEDs on the panel flash twice, with the
LED on the [TRANSPOSER] button flashing continuously.
2.
As shown by the screen printing panel, the registers in the Bass section indicate the three sections
of the instrument.
3.
Pressing and holding down for a few seconds the register whose MIDI channel you want to
change, the registers in Manual I indicate the one that is currently set. As shown by the screen
printing panel, in fact, these registers also perform the function of numeric keypad, and in this
environment flashing once they indicate the digit of the channel. If, for example, the second and
fourth register from the left flashes, this indicates that the channel is set to 2. In fact, this is always
displayed and must always be set with two digits, in our example "0" and "2".
4.
When the second digit of the channel is entered, the first register from the left of the Manual I
section flashes for a few seconds, confirming that the data has been entered correctly.
5.
Press the [TRANSPOSER] button to complete and store the operation.
