4.2 Connection
WARNING
Danger of explosion from sparking! Danger of electric shock!
The parallel switch box may only be connected to the local consumer devices
X
and the inverters by trained personnel and in accordance with the applicable
regulations.
Connections must always be made in the sequence described below.
X
The cables pre-fitted to the inverter may not be extended and must not be
X
damaged.
4.2.1 Connecting the loads
Loosen strain relief screws (see 4 and 5 in fig. on p. 18).
X
Insert the alternating current cable(s) into the housing and through the
X
strain relief.
Connect the alternating current cable(s) of a distribution board on a circuit
X
breaker (compliant with the applicable regulations) to output terminals L
and N (4, 5).
or
Mount alternating current socket(s) on the output terminals (4, 5) in ac-
X
cordance with the country-specific regulations.
Retighten the strain relief screws of the outputs (4, 5).
X
4.2.2 Connecting the master and the slaves
ATTENTION
Risk of destroying the device.
Never short-circuit the outputs of the device.
X
Make sure the inverters (master, slaves) are not connected to the battery.
X
Ensure that the alternating current connection has been installed in accord-
X
ance with the regulations.
Loosen the strain relief screws of the inputs (3, master) and (6, slave 1)
X
and, where applicable, the inputs (7, slave 2) and (8, slave 3) and insert the
cable into the housing and through the strain relief.
Connect the wires in the parallel switch box according to the terminal plan
X
(see Section 3 "Description of connections").
Blue:
terminal N
Brown:
terminal L
CAUTION
Incorrect connection can cause severe damage to the inverters.
Make sure that all blue cables are connected to N and all brown cables are
X
connected to L.
Retighten the strain relief screws of the inputs (3), (6), (7), (8).
X
Put the grey housing cover in place and fasten with 2 screws.
X
4.2.3 Connect the data cable
Plug the RJ45 plug of the red data cable from the master into the socket
X
(2).
Plug the RJ45 plug of the grey data cable of the slaves into the sockets (9,
X
slave 1) and where applicable (10, slave 2) and (11, slave 3).
Where applicable, plug the RJ45 plug(s) of the Tarom data cable(s) into the
X
sockets (1).
NOTES
Check that the locking mechanisms of the RJ45 plugs are engaged.
