NOTE: When the appliance is turned on, the power
indicator LED turns blue. It is recommended that the blade
cover be kept on when the appliance is not in use.
SHAVING
• DO NOT use water and/or shaving foam. This can cause
the blade to stick or to stop working.
• Hold the surface of the blade against your skin
(Figure 5).
• For best results, move the shaver head in the opposite
direction of hair growth. Press lightly while making long
strokes.
NOTE: It is normal for the shaving head to become warm
during use.
TRIMMING WITH ATTACHMENT
• Select one of the guides provided and place it on the
blade, ensuring both sides snap into place (Figure 6).
The blade teeth can face in either direction, depending
on the area being shaved and most comfortable way to
hold the appliance.
• Turn on the appliance. Shave using a gentle, light motion.
• Always trim in the direction of the comb teeth, making
sure that the flat part of the attachment fully touches
the skin.
• For optimal results, try various trimming positions
(upwards, downwards, or across) and move the shaving
head against the grain.
• For best results, use when the skin and hair are fully dry.
PRECISE TRIMMING WITHOUT ATTACHMENT
• Use either of the two edges of the blade for sharp lines.
• Hold the MicroTouch Solo unit with the blade to the skin,
with only one edge actually touching the skin (Figure 7).
• Trim the beard with light and gentle movements.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT RINSE THE BLADE, ONLY EVER USE
THE CLEANING BRUSH.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning:
The MicroTouch Solo blade is fragile – please handle with
care.
• If hair has built up on the attachment or blade, gently
clean it with the supplied brush.
• Do not rinse the blade. This can cause damage.
Removing the trimming attachment:
• Place your thumb on top of the trimming attachment
(Figure 8) and press down to remove it from the blade
head (Figure 9).
• Lift off the trimming attachment (Figure 10).
Attaching the trimming attachment
Please make sure to place the desired attachment in the
center and let it snap into place with a click on both broad
sides by lightly pressing on it (Fig. 12).
Changing the blade:
For optimal results, replace the blade every 1-2 months, or
when it no longer provides the desired results.
• Remove any accessories.
• With the cover attached, gently push the blade release
upwards and remove the blade (Figure 11).
• Hold the new blade at the sides, and press it down onto
the handle until you hear a „click".
• Remove cover before use.
NOTE: Make sure that the shaft is centrally aligned under
the blade head before it snaps into place. If the blade
does not move when the appliance is switched on after
replacement, remove the blade, briefly switch on the device
without the blade, and replace it as described in point 3.
