Emptying the ash pan

Remove the ash only after it has cooled down completely. Never dispose of hot
ash in the household waste. Risk of fire!
1. Open the safety blind.
3. Tilt the sail and the tube slightly forwards
so that the rod of the ash grid rises out of
its holder for about 10 cm. Then turn the rod
by 90° so that the ash drops into the pan.
You can now easily dispose of the ashes through the slot in the ash pan.

2. Open the safety splint.
4. You can now remove the fire column
with the heat shield from the ash pan.
