BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE
INSERTING THE BATTERIES
- Your beard trimmer requires 2 alkaline LR03/AAA batteries included�
- Open the battery compartment by pressing on the grooved areas and pushing downwards�
- Insert the batteries in the compartment by respecting the polarities indicated�
In the event that leaks occur from the batteries, and the liquid (electrolyte) touches the skin, wash immediately in plenty
of soap and water, or neutralise with a mild acid such as lemon juice or vinegar. If the liquid comes into contact with the
eyes, rince immediately in clean water for 10 minutes, then consult a doctor.
- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged�
- The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited�
REMOVING THE BATTERIES
- Open the battery compartment by pressing on the grooved areas and pushing downwards�
- Remove the batteries�
- Close the battery compartment
TO BEGIN
Always comb your beard or moustache with a fine comb before starting to trim�
ATTACHING AND REMOVING THE ADJUSTABLE GUIDE COMB
- Place the guide comb on the upper section of the beard trimmer so that the guide comb's teeth are against the
blades' teeth�
- Slide the guide comb until it is firmly attached to the beard trimmer�
- To remove the guide comb, make sure that the guide comb's locking button is set to the unlock position. Push the back
of the guide comb upwards and separate it from the beard trimmer�
TO THIN OUT AND TAPER YOUR BEARD/MOUSTACHE
- Attach the adjustable guide comb to the trimmer's blade and select the desired length by sliding the adjustable guide
comb upwards or downwards�
The setting will be displayed on the length position indicator. If you are using the trimmer for the first time, start with the
longest cutting length�
- Once you have set the adjustable guide comb to the desired length, switch the trimmer on. This will lock the length.
- Place the guide comb's flat top against the skin�
- Complete movements towards the edge of your beard/moustache to size it according to your preferences in the
different areas of your face and movements towards the outside of your beard at neck level�
TRIMMING YOUR SIDEBURNS
Start with the edges of the sideburns and, with the blades of the trimmer pushed gently against your skin, more the
appliance towards the outer edges of the sideburns to size them according to your preferences in the different areas
of your face�
TO TRIM YOUR NECK
Note: You will need a mirror to do this if you are alone�
- Remove the guide comb from the trimmer� Use your fingers to remove the hair from the neck�
Your index finger should cover the roots of the hair you want to remove to prevent any accidental cutting with the
trimmer�
- With your other hand, hold the trimmer at the base of your neck with the blades facing upwards and move the trimmer
up along the length of your neck until it comes into contact with your finger covering the roots of the hair at the base
of your head�
Make sure that you move the appliance slowly when doing this and hold the roots of the hair at the base of your head
away from the trimmer�
REMOVING THE BLADE
- Make sure that the appliance is switched off�
- Remove the adjustable guide comb�
- Remove the blades by pushing your thumb upwards under the blades and separating the set of blades from the
trimmer's body�
- To attach the blades again, align the back of the blades with the rear casing on the upper section of the trimmer and
press until the set of blades clicks into place�
ADVICE FOR ACHIEVING BEST RESULTS
Beard, moustache and sideburn hair must be dry.
Avoid applying lotions before using the trimmer�
Comb the hair in the direction of the hair growth�
MAINTENANCE
- Regular maintenance of the clippers' blades will keep the appliance in an optimum conditions�
- Make sure that the appliance is switched off�
- Remove the guide comb and clean it using the cleaning brush provided�
- Brush the blades carefully using the cleaning brush to remove any hair�
- Turn your clippers on and carefully add a few drops of lubricating oil to the blades� Wait a few seconds then turn the
clippers off and remove any excess oil using a dry cloth�
- Only use the oil supplied in the kit: this has been specially formulated for the clippers�

recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By making sure that this product is disposed of properly, you will help
