Connect the negative cable for the 12 volt battery (blue 10 mm²) with the 12
volt negative connection of the device and the negative pole of the 12 volt
battery.
Connect the positive cable for the 12 volt battery (red 10 mm²) with the 12 volt
positive connection of the device and the positive pole of the 12 volt battery.
Protect this cable with a 50 A fuse near the positive pole of the battery!
Install the snap ferrite (Fig. 7) near the device to achieve optimum interference
suppression. To this end, place the positive and negative cables of the 12 volt
connections into the open ferrite, close the snap ferrite and apply pressure until
the lock engages. Secure the snap ferrite using cable bands in front and behind
the ferrite.
Connect the measuring cable B+ (red 0.75 mm²) with the B+ input of the
device and the positive pole of the 12 volt supply battery. Protect this cable
with a 2 A fuse near the positive pole of the battery!
If you are using a temperature sensor for the 12 volt battery, stick the
temperature sensor to the face of the 12 volt battery. To do so, remove the
protective plastic film from the sticking spot of the temperature sensor and
press it firmly to the desired position at battery (see description of temperature
sensor). Connect the cable of the temperature sensor to the temperature sensor
connection of the device (2-pole connection).
If a status indicator LED (optional) is used, connect the status indicator cable
with the status indicator connection (2-pin connection) of the device. Check
that all the connections are firm and secure!
