Throw a worn battery in Nature or in household waste pollutes and prevents the recovery of valorisables
materials. It is thus important to limit its batteries consumption and to respect the following advises :
- To privilege the alkaline batteries (which owed longer that the salt piles) and when it is possible, re-
chargeable batteries.
- To put down(to deposit) batteries and worn batteries in the specific containers arranged at the stores.
So, metals will be valued and will not pollute the environment because they contain dangerous heavy
metals for the health and the environment (mainly some cadmium and some nickel).
