Starting up

Removing iso-strips

When the scales are delivered, the battery is already
inserted and fitted with iso-strips to prevent it from
discharging ahead of time. In order to start up the scales,
you must remove the iso-strips. The battery compartment
is located on the underside of the device.
1. Push the locking tab slightly towards the battery
compartment cover and remove the battery
compartment cover.
2. Pull out the iso-strips.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
The locking tab must snap securely into place.

Inserting/changing batteries

For use you require 1 batteries of type CR2032, 3 V.
1. Push the locking tab slightly towards the battery
compartment cover and remove the battery
compartment cover.
2. Slide the battery under the square retaining tabs and
then push it down. The battery will then snap under
the opposite retaining lugs so that it sits firmly in its
holder.
Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-). The plus
pole (+) must point upwards.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
The locking tab must snap securely into place.
