2.9 Mounting On Linear Actuators

2.9.1 Fixing the mounting kit
Remove the position indicator.
Attention: Position indicator has left-hand thread.
Instead of the position indicator an adapter is used. (see below)
Attention: 5 different installation versions according to table below.

Determine suitable combination of adapter for corresponding
pneumatic actuator.
Screw adapter counterclockwise instead of position indicator into the
actuator (1–5 with an allen wrench WS5/WS 10), until it hits the
pressure spindle
Attention: Left-hand thread
The mounting kit is attached to the upper end of the valve actuator.
Coupling the positioner to the valve is carried through the already installed adapter which is
connected to the valve stem. Feedback pin and spring are positioned on its flat surface and
feed back the valve position to the positioner.
