Possible reason
Batteries are too weak.
USB cable is damaged.
Calibration needed.
These problems can occur under adverse
weather conditions (high humidity, snowfall, rain,
fog, etc.).
At temperatures above freezing, the observed
objects (surroundings and background) usually
have a higher temperature difference. This can
be shown by the thermal imager by setting the
contrast higher.
At low outdoor temperatures, the observed
objects cool down to approximately the same
temperature, so that the temperature contrast
is considerably reduced and the image quality
suffers as a result. This characteristic is due to
physical reasons and does not represent a defect
in the thermal imager.
Instead of the image
shift function, pixel cor-
rection was activated
in the submenu.
Minimum mounting
distance not observed
-
The parallax adjustment
on the target optics is
not set to infinity.
Minimum mounting dis-
tance not observed.
Correction
Insert new batteries/re-
chargeable batteries.
Replace USB cable.
Calibrate the image.
See section "Use in
attachment mode"
Check and correct
distance (see section
"Use in attachment
mode").
Check that the
clamping adapter and
assembly are fixed in
position.
Set the parallax ad-
justment on the target
optics to infinity.
Check and correct
distance (see section
"Use in attachment
mode").
