The device is parameterized using the application Weather data 4f and Engineering Tool Software ETS. The
application ensures comprehensive, flexible functions are available. The standard settings allow simple
commissioning. The functions can be expanded as required.
For each of the 4 inputs, the following functions can be selected:

All commercially available sensors can be connected with a sensor output signal of
0...1 V, 0...5 V, 0...10 V, 1...10 V, 0...20 mA, 4...20 mA, 0...1,000 ohm, PT100 in 2-wire
technology and PT1000 in 2-wire technology and 3-wire technology or a selection of
KT/KTY sensors. User-defined KTY sensors can also be adapted to the device.
Potential-free contacts can likewise be processed.
The sensor signal can be corrected or deferred.
Flexible setting option of lower and upper measuring limit each depending on the
output signal of the sensor. The measuring curve is adapted in linear fashion between
the upper and lower measuring limit.
Flexible setting options of output value. For the lower and upper measuring limit,
depending on the output signal of the sensor in each case.
The output value can be sent as a 1-bit value [0/1], 1-byte value [0...+255], 1-byte
value [-128...+127], 2-byte value [0...+65.535], 2-byte value [-32.768...+32.767], 2-
byte value [floating point] or as a 4-byte value [IEEE floating point].
The output value is "smoothed" via the mean value. The average is either calculated
via 1, 4, 16 or 64 measurements. One measurement takes place per second.
Two threshold values can be set, each with an upper and lower limit. The limits can be
modified via the bus.
There are 4 calculation objects available. In each case 2 output values can be
compared or calculated arithmetically. The options smaller than, greater than,
addition, subtraction or mean value formation are available.
Logical operations such as AND and OR gates. There are 4 inputs available per logic.
These can be linked with 2 external inputs. The inputs and outputs can be inverted.
