18.11. Listening in to messages

You can set whether you want to listen in to the incoming
messages via the hands-free facility.
 Use the  keys to select BS SCREENING.
 Confirm by pressing the MENU key.
 Use the  keys to select ON or OFF.
 Confirm by pressing the MENU key.

18.12. Remote enquiry

You can listen to messages via an external telephone
using the remote enquiry function. The remote enquiry
function is activated in the factory settings with the
default PIN number 0000.
 Use the  keys to select REMOTE ACC..
 Confirm by pressing the MENU key.
 Use the keys to select ON or OFF.
 Confirm by pressing the MENU key.
18.13. Changing the remote enquiry
PIN
The PIN is a password and is used to prevent strangers
from using the remote enquiry of your answering
machine. If the remote enquiry function is switched on,
you must first enter the old PIN and then you can change
it.
NOTE!
This PIN is not identical with the system PIN.
 Use the  keys to select the entry CHANGE PIN.
