2.5 - Associating the remote control to the multimedia interface

Each Interface can be associated with several radio remote controls (up to 16).
The procedures described below allow to perform the following operations:
2.5.1 Associating a remote control code to the MM Interface
2.5.2 Deleting a remote control code associated with the Interface
2.5.3 Resetting all remote control codes associated with the Interface

Press the interface keys OK and C at the same time for 3 seconds; three subsequent "beeps"
will sound. Once the keys are released, the display will show an icon indicating that remote
control acquisition has started.
Press any remote control key you want to associate within 20 seconds. When a key is
pressed a prolonged "beep" will sound, and the icon confirming correct acquisition will
be displayed. A few seconds later the display will go back to its default mode.
To associate other remote controls to the interface, simply repeat the operation.
Press the OK and C keys at the same time for 8 seconds (after 3 seconds 3 subsequent "beeps"
will sound; after another 5 seconds 3 other subsequent "beeps" will sound again).
Release the keys.
The display will show an icon indicating that remote control deletion has started.
Press any key of the remote control you want to dissociate from the Interface within 20
seconds. When a key is pressed a prolonged "beep" will sound and an icon will show that
the remote control has been deleted. A few seconds later the display will go back to its
default mode.
From now on the radio remote control will no longer be associated with the Interface.
Press the OK and C keys at the same time for 13 seconds (after 3 seconds 3 subsequent
"beeps" will sound; 5 seconds later another 3 subsequent "beeps" will sound again; after
another 5 seconds a prolonged "beep" will confirm that the codes have been deleted).
Release the keys.
After code deletion, the display will show an icon indicating that remote control codes have
been reset.
