Checking Operation of the Sensors

Before installing the sensors, confirm that they operate correctly.

Use a Philip's screwdriver to loosen the screws and remove the left and right transmitter covers.
Left side(screws: 4 x)

Remove the batteries if there are in the left and right transmitter.

Check that the mode switches are in pedaling mode.

Insert the batteries (CR2032), confirm that the green LEDs light within a few seconds and flash for 10
seconds.

Using any battery other than CR2032 batteries could damage the product.
If the LEDs do not light, or if only one side lights, replace the batteries. If they still do not light, the batteries may be dead. Replace them
with new batteries.
If the LEDs light red, refer to Troubleshooting (page 47).

Remove the batteries, install the transmitter's cover and tighten the screws.
Use a tool that can measure the torque to tighten the screws.
Tightening torque: 18 cN•m
Tighten the screws on the left transmitter in a diagonal pattern.
