7.2.2.1 Retrofitting kit for insulated-hole mounting
Instructions for the installation of the titanium anode
1. Scope of application
The retrofitting kit permits installing the titanium anode and the required
components in conformity with the requirements for insulated-hole mounting.
2. Illustration
Fig. 4 in the Annex 'Mounting kit for retrofitting' shows the order in which
the individual parts are to be installed.
Note: Use the illustration as a visual aid for the installation.
3. Installation
The installation is effected in compliance with chapter 7.2.3
7.2.3 Installation of the CORREX
1. Empty the storage tank, if necessary.
2. For retrofitting, remove the old protective (Mg) anode, if any.
3. If not yet existing, drill a hole with a diameter of 10.5 mm into the
flange-type cover of the hot-water strorage tank.
